Brian Aikman qualified as a solicitor in 1982 after completing his training at Wragge & Co in Birmingham. He joined the Firm as a Partner in September 2004, having previously been a Partner at Martineau Johnson in Birmingham.
He specialises in all aspects of Commercial Dispute Resolution, but has gained a particular reputation in recent years in the field of contentious corporate recovery work.
In addition Brian occupies the prominent role of a Deputy District Judge.
Brian's corporate restructuring and insolvency work is recognised in the Legal 500 Directory. "FBC Manby Bowdler LLP’s work highlights included obtaining a s127 validation order on 36 hours’ notice to preserve the business of a multimillion-pound mobile communications company.
