Charlotte Charlesworth-Jones gained a degree in Applied Biology from the University of Wolverhampton in 2002 before going on to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course with distinction, also at the University of Wolverhampton. She joined the Firm as trainee and was admitted as a solicitor in September 2008, qualifying into our Employment Department.
Charlotte has experience in various aspects of employment law, including advising companies on employment related matters, particularly contracts of employment, company policies, employee handbooks, grievance, capability and disciplinary procedures, dismissals and redundancies. She also has experience of advising and acting for both claimants and respondents in Employment Tribunal proceedings.
Charlotte works closely with the Corporate Department to provide a corporate support role in transactional work. This includes, for example, identifying and advising on any TUPE issues in respect of business acquisitions and disposals.
Charlotte plays an active role as a solicitor member of our Agricultural & Rural Services Group, providing Employment legal support to an expanding portfolio of clients, particularly dealing with those issues that have an equine bias.
