David Campbell qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and became an Associate in April 2010.
David was formerly employed as a Solicitor at a Local Authority prosecuting on behalf of that authority in relation to health and safety (particularly fire safety), benefit fraud, food hygiene, unsafe goods, breaches of abatement notices, environmental crime and Trading Standards matters .
He also advised in relation to alcohol and entertainment and taxi licensing law (sitting as legal adviser to Committee Members) as well as in relation to anti-social behaviour and nuisance.
David now advises clients facing investigation or prosecution by regulatory bodies such as Councils, Fire Authorities, the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency and others. He represents clients before the Magistrates Court. He also specialises in road traffic and transport law representing clients before the Courts and at Public Inquiries.
David is an integral member of both of our Teams servicing the Agricultural & Rural and Technology sectors.
As part of our Intellectual Property, Technology and Media Law Group he assists with defamation matters and trademark infringements which have a criminal aspect. .
David is recommended in the Legal 500 Directory for providing “‘clear advice”’.
