David Campbell obtained both his Law degree and Legal Practice Course Diploma from The University of Central England. He qualified as a solicitor in 1999.
David was formerly employed as a Prosecutions and Licensing solicitor at a Local Authority. He joined the Firm in October 2007 and became an Associate in April 2010. His experience is vast having advised on all types of alcohol, entertainment and taxi licensing within the Local Authority and now, in private practice.
David now advises clients facing investigation by regulatory bodies such as Councils, Fire Authorities, the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency and others. He represents clients before the Magistrates Court when necessary. He also specialises in road traffic matters.
David is an integral member of both of our Teams servicing the Agricultural & Rural and Technology sectors. As part of our Intellectual Property, Technolody and Media Law Group he assists with the Team’s corporate defamation practise. As a former prosecutor for trading standards David is well placed to defend clients facing criminal allegations for trademark infringements.
