From a strong agricultural background, Douglas Godwin attained a Diploma in Advanced Farm and Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, before moving on to complete his legal qualifications. He joined the firm in March 2007.
Douglas has considerable experience working across a wide range of agricultural and commercial property related matters including sales and purchases, development agreements and landlord and tenant matters. He also has significant expertise dealing with all planning, environmental and rural related issues.
Douglas is a member of The National Trust, The Royal Agricultural College and the CPRE (Campaign for the Protection of Rural England). He is also a Parish Councillor and is a serving Councillor on Wyre Forest District Council. Douglas remains involved in the family farm and is a Director of two farming companies.
