James Knight obtained his LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Central England and qualified as a Solicitor in 1990. He completed his training in Birmingham before joining the firm in 2001. He became a Partner in 2002.

James advises on a wide range of corporate matters and his particular area of expertise includes advising owner managed businesses on business sales and purchases, management acquisitions, re-financing and re-structuring. He has gained a reputation for providing a commercial common sense approach, much appreciated by his clients.

James is also the firm's Connect2Law Business Development Partner.
