Richard Barge qualified as a solicitor in 1996 after completing his training with the Firm. He became a Partner in 2002.
Richard deals with all aspects of financial matters on divorce with a particular emphasis on those matters involving family businesses, pensions and assets located outside of the jurisdiction. He regularly acts for Directors of OMB's or shareholders involved in divorce litigation. Richard has developed a niche area of his practice drafting and advising on Pre Nuptial agreements for those individuals who wish to attempt to limit their financial exposure in the event of a future divorce.
Richard is a member of Resolution and is the Shropshire Co-ordinator for Collaborative Law. He is one of the few accredited specialists in the region in Advanced Financial Provision.
