Stuart Downes gained his LLB (Hons) degree from Southampton University. After attending the Guildford College of Law he completed his training with a Birmingham firm before qualifying in 2006.
Stuart joined the Firm's Corporate Department in 2007 where he acts on a variety of corporate transactions including business sales and acquisitions, restructuring and liquidations and also undertakes a range of non-transactional work including providing advice on succession planning. Stuart is a member of our Intellectual Property and IT Group and has advised clients in relation to IT and Intellectual Property for over 4 years on a range of related matters including.
Stuart is the secretary of the Wolverhampton and Black Country Junior Lawyer Division.
