Fiona obtained a 2:1 (Hons) Degree in Latin at the University of Leeds in 2012, before completing the Legal Practice Course, achieving Distinction, and the Graduate Diploma in Law, at the College of Law, York in 2014. Fiona joined FBC Manby Bowdler in 2014 as a Trainee Solicitor in the Town & Country Planning Team.
Since beginning her training contract Fiona has completed seats with the Firm’s Town & Country Planning Department, the Commercial Property Department and the Firm’s Corporate/Employment Departments. In September 2015 Fiona joined the Agricultural & Rural Services Department to complete her final seat of her training contract. During this time she has been working closely with Partners assisting with their advice to farming clients, landed estates and rural businesses. She has advised on sales and purchases of freehold agricultural land, buildings and sporting rights, applications for first registration of land and has assisted in drafting agreements such as Easements, Grazing Licenses and Livery Agreements.
In September 2016 Fiona completed her training contract with the Firm and became a fully qualified Solicitor.
