Law Firm Advises Celebrity Hairdresser on London Salon Franchise- 12/04/2010
West Midlands law firm FBC Manby Bowdler LLP has advised a celebrity hairdresser on the franchise agreement for a new London salon.
Leanne Walters, an Associate in the corporate department in the Wolverhampton office of FBC Manby Bowdler advised Lisa Shepherd and her Kidderminster-based company Lisa Shepherd Salons Limited on all the legal aspects of the agreement with new franchisee Jason Cocking, which saw a new Lisa Shepherd salon open in Mortimer Street in London’s West End last month (March).
Known as the “Hair Colour Doctor", Lisa Shepherd is a multi-award winning hair stylist and colourist with more than 20 years experience. She has a number of high profile clients and appears regularly in the press and on television, most recently as the resident colour expert for Channel 4’s Ten Years Younger.
Lisa Shepherd presently owns two salons in Kidderminster and in Birmingham and a franchise operation in Sutton Coldfield and after the opening of the London salon is looking to continue to expand the group.
FBC Manby Bowdler has advised the hairdressing company for the past three years. Miss Walters said: “Quality of product and service will always come to the fore even in more difficult economic times.
