Shrewsbury law firm FBC Manby Bowdler LLP has strengthened its Litigation team with the appointment of a local solicitor.
Shrewsbury resident Sally Burroughs joins FBC Manby Bowdler from Nicholls & Co where she was Head of Litigation.
A former pupil of Bridgnorth Endowed School and Christie College Cheltenham, Miss Burroughs worked as litigator for a number of London law firms before returning to her native Shropshire in 2001. At FBC Manby Bowdler Miss Burroughs will work closely with partner Brian Aikman on a range of commercial disputes.
Mr Aikman said: “We are delighted that we are able to offer Sally a further opportunity to pursue her career in her native Shropshire at a time when we remain busy with a high volume of litigation work from Shrewsbury clients.
Miss Burroughs said: “I am pleased to join a firm that has such a good reputation and broad client base as FBC Manby Bowdler and I am delighted to be able to continue to work with local businesses and the local community with which I am already familiar.”
With 40 qualified staff in offices in Shrewsbury, Telford and Bridgnorth, FBC Manby Bowdler is one of the largest law firms in Shropshire.
