FBC Manby Bowdler Acts on Deals Worth £105 Million- 10/11/2011
Shropshire law firm FBC Manby Bowdler LLP has completed corporate deals worth more than £105 million in the past six months.
The corporate department of the law firm, which in September was ranked by The Legal 500, for the second year running, in the top tier of corporate and commercial law firms in the West Midlands, based outside Birmingham, advised more than 50 clients on the deals.
Key transactions included acting for the administrator on the sale of certain outlets for a national furniture retailer, and the management buyout of a business concerned with the manufacture and installation of heavy lifting equipment in the UK and abroad.
“In the past six months we have been involved in more administration work, but have continued to advise on mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, refinancings and general corporate and commercial work, providing a local, knowledgeable, partner-led service to clients of all sizes across Shropshire, Staffordshire, the Black Country and the wider West Midlands,” says Stuart Rea, corporate partner, who is based in FBC Manby Bowdler’s Shrewsbury office.
