FBC Manby Bowdler Joins New Brain Injury Group- 21/04/2011
West Midlands law firm FBC Manby Bowdler LLP has been selected to join the new Brain Injury Group - a national network of expert brain injury lawyers working alongside a wide range of specialist support services.
FBC Manby Bowdler will handle all Brain Injury Group legal claims in the Wolverhampton, Walsall and Wednesbury areas and was chosen because of its proven track record in successfully representing people with brain injuries. The firm is also the only Wolverhampton-based solicitors on the list of solicitors firms approved by leading brain injury charity Headway.
The 16 strong Personal Injury Department is led by partners Susan Todhunter and Tim Gray and works out of the firm’s Wolverhampton and Willenhall offices.
In the last 12 months FBC Manby Bowdler has secured a number of major settlements for clients who have suffered head injuries, including settlements of £7.7 million and £2.2 million for two pedestrians who suffered head injuries to pay for accommodation and 24-hour care, as well as a £700,000 settlement for a car passenger left wheelchair dependent.
“We are looking forward to working with the Brain Injury Group, as it is a national resource designed to provide brain injured individuals and their families with complete support – not just compensation - throughout their claim and beyond,” says Susan Todhunter.
“Our appointment to the Brain Injury Group underscores our specialism and experience in dealing with and winning high value and complex cases, as well as many minor injury claims.”
In addition to brain injury claims, FBC Manby Bowdler’s Personal Injury Department also handles claims for injury in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and trips and slips, on a no win, no fee basis. The specialist team can be contacted on tel. 01902 578000 or via the firm’s website - www.fbcmb.co.uk
