FBC Manby Bowdler Ranked Top Corporate Law Firm in Legal 500- 13/09/2010
FBC Manby Bowdler LLP has been named as the top corporate and commercial law firm in Wolverhampton.
The firm, which has offices in George Street and St John’s Square in Wolverhampton, as well as in Willenhall, Telford, Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury, was ranked in the top tier of corporate and commercial law firms in the West Midlands, based outside Birmingham, by The Legal 500.
Known as the ‘Lawyers’ Bible’, The Legal 500 makes recommendations about leading law firms throughout the UK. In its latest edition, published this week, (w/c 6th September 2010) it puts FBC Manby Bowdler in the top ranking for corporate and commercial law firms, based outside Birmingham, the only Wolverhampton-based firm to be ranked in the top category.
FBC Manby Bowdler’s corporate partners Kam Johal and Gavin Southall were singled out for praise by the Legal 500 which says that the firm provides “the full service without all the tag on fees that you get in City firms’.
“This ranking is independent confirmation that we are providing an excellent, value-for-money, partner-led service to the businesses of Wolverhampton, the Black Country and the wider Midlands,” said Corporate Partner James Sage.
With 38 partners, FBC Manby Bowdler is one of the largest law firms in the West Midlands.
