Vehicles without insurance
Don’t let anyone drive your vehicle without checking they are insured to do so. Failure to make proper enquiries can lead to a conviction for permitting the other person to use your vehicle. This leads to 6 to 8 points should it transpire they are not insured.
If you use a vehicle without insurance yourself on a road or other public place, then again its 6 to 8 points. If there is doubt as to whether a place is public or not then the Police have to prove it.
