Academic qualifications
We are looking for candidates with A-C grades at GCSE and a minimum B:B:C at A Level, as well as a 1st or 2:1 degree. We will give consideration to people who are changing their career to law who have come from other backgrounds, but who can bring additional commercial skills to the firm.
Personal qualities
Ideally you need to have the following:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to be able to build good relationships with people
- A common sense approach and analytical problem solving skills
- Plenty of adaptability, enthusiasm, energy and ambition
- Confidence to get the job done and take ownership of challenges presented to you
Commercial and business focus
You should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in business and working in a commercial law firm. Commercial work experience gained during vacation from University or a previous career is also very valuable.
