Winding up a company is only available if the debt owed to you is over £750.
In order to begin winding up proceedings against a company more than 21 days must have elapsed since the letter of demand was sent.
Winding Up a company should not be considered where there could be ANY possibility of a dispute.. If there is a dispute, it is advisable to obtain a Judgment first (see our section on Enforcements and Judgements).
