Powys County Council

  • The Unitary Development Plan (UDP) was adopted in March 2010 and covers the period up to 2016
  • The Local Development Plan covering up to 2026 is not yet adopted, but has been presented for review by an independent Inspector
  • As of September 2015 the Council says it has a 1.9 year housing land supply
  • There is currently no CIL charging schedule adopted

Wrexham County Borough Council

  • The Wrexham Unitary Development Planwas adopted in February 2005
  • The Wrexham Local Development Plan, covering the period up to 2028, is expected to be adopted in March 2018
  • As there is no up to date local plan the Council is considered to have a zero land supply
  • A CIL viability study has been undertaken but no CIL schedule is yet in force

Beneath the primary policy framework, each Council has a series of Supplementary Planning Policies and many communities have developed or are working on Neighbourhood Plans, all of which will affect the way that the Council makes decisions about development in your area.
