Worcestershire

Wyre Forest District Council

  • The Core Strategy came into effect on 9 December 2010 and covers the period up to 2026
  • The Site Allocations and Policies Plan was adopted on 24 July 2013
  • As of September 2017 the Council says it has a 5.87 year housing land supply
  • No CIL charging schedule has been adopted due to viability concerns however the Council intends to progress one shortly

Malvern Hills District Council

  • The South Worcestershire Development Plan is a joint document between Malvern Hills District, Worcester City and Wychavon District Councils, and combines the previously proposed South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy and Site Allocations and Policies documents into a single plan. It was adopted on 25 February 2016
  • As of April 2017 the Council says it has a 6.68 year housing land supply
  • The south Worcestershire Councils (Malvern Hills, Worcester City and Wychavon) adopted a CIL charging schedule on 5 June 2017

Worcester City Council

  • The South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP) is a joint Development Plan Document between Malvern Hills District, Worcester City and Wychavon District Councils, and combines the previously proposed South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy (SWJCS) and Site Allocations and Policies DPDs into a single plan. It was adopted on 25 February 2016
  • As of March 2017 the Council says it has a 7 year housing land supply
  • The south Worcestershire Councils (Malvern Hills, Worcester City and Wychavon) adopted a CIL charging schedule on 5 June 2017
