We work for and with developers, the business community, private individuals, landowners and public authorities, on a regional and national level, providing concise, high quality advice on all aspects of town and country planning matters.
The team mainly act for people and businesses making planning proposals. Decisions are made using detailed laws, policies, guidelines and principles and it’s our job to understand them and use powers of persuasion and advocacy to advance your case.
We appraise planning applications to identify potential policy or other pitfalls, review documentation, support submissions, legal submissions and environmental statements to spot inconsistencies, so as to ensure applications or appeals stand the best chance of success for developers and consultants.
They also have considerable experience in challenging planning decisions in the High Court and have taken cases to the Court of Appeal and House of Lords (now the Supreme Court).
