Charlotte graduated with a 2:1 (Hons) Law Degree from the University of Liverpool in 2005. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham, achieving Distinction. Charlotte joined the Firm as a Trainee Solicitor in 2006, qualified as a Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation Department in 2009 and became a Partner in April 2016.

With a particular bias towards Commercial and Contractual Disputes, Charlotte handles the Firm's Intellectual Property, Technology & Media Law Group's IP litigation at Partner level and also manages a portfolio of IT, software and development companies, most of whom have a national presence. She deals with the Group’s reputational management and media law work and is fast developing a specialist niche in that area.

In addition Charlotte is one of the Firm’s lead advisors in respect of regulatory, business crime and motoring offences. She represents clients facing investigation or prosecution by regulatory bodies such as Councils, Fire Authorities, the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency and others, and represents clients before the Magistrates Court.

In 2020 Charlotte was named as a Next Generation Partner in The Legal 500 rankings for the West Midlands.

Charlotte was recognised as Lawyer of the Year at the Modern Law Awards 2020 for her outstanding contribution to the development of FBCMB through her leadership and management.
