Charlotte graduated with a 2:1 (Hons) LLB Law Degree from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006 and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester where she achieved a Commendation. Charlotte began her training contract at Hatchers LLP in Shrewsbury and qualified as a Solicitor in 2009. Following qualification Charlotte spent 18 months working in-house for the legal team of international bank Deutsche Bank and then went on to work at a niche Corporate Firm in Chester. Charlotte joined FBC Manby Bowdler as a Solicitor in the Commercial Property Department in 2014 and made associate in 2017.
Charlotte specialises in all aspects of commercial property including freehold acquisitions and disposals, asset sales and purchases of businesses including assignment of leases or sale/purchase of freehold property, leases acting for both landlords and tenants, acquisitions of property by SIPP’s, acting for lenders on secured property lending and assisting in relation to property elements of corporate transactions. Charlotte’s client base ranges from individuals embarking upon their first business venture to established corporate clients, property developers, banks and finance providers.
Charlotte also champions our Leisure & Hospitality sector specialism and heads up the team as well as being a member of the Institute of Hospitality.
Did you know? Charlotte is a keen sportswoman having taken part in several half marathons.
