Julie’s legal career began in 1998 in the banking law sector as a legal advisor for Barclays Bank PLC. By 2003, Julie had completed the four years of study with Cilex and graduated with a law degree from the University of London, gaining qualified lawyer status as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, following 5 years of qualifying employment.
Between 2001 and 2008, Julie was working at Alsters Kelley solicitors undertaking Personal Injury work and litigation disputes. Julie then spent 6 years working at a niche Commercial litigation practice before moving to Kerwoods solicitors in 2014, with the role of Head of Litigation. Since the merger between Kerwoods and FBC Manby Bowdler in October 2018, Julie is now an Associate in our Commercial Litigation department at our Redditch office where she has a full and varied caseload of civil and commercial dispute related matters including Landlord and Tenant disputes, Contract disputes, Inheritance and disputed Will Claims, Injunctions, Insolvency, professional negligence claims and property disputes.
