About Angie


Angie was educated at Notre Dame High School in Sheffield and obtained an LLB (Hons) Law Degree at Leeds University in 1984. Angie began her training contract at Hatchers Solicitors in Shrewsbury and qualified as a Solicitor in 1989 where she predominantly dealt with Personal Injury work. Angie then moved to a law firm in Dudley where she specialised in Clinical Negligence cases and Professional Negligence cases.

Angie joined FBC Manby Bowdler in 2017 within the Firm's Contentious Trust and Probate team and is accredited as a full member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). Angie is able to provide specialist advice on a range of issues arising from disputed trusts and estates, including removal of an executor or trustee, seeking guidance from the High Court on behalf of an executor or trustee and challenging the validity of a will or defending such claims pursuant to the inheritance (Provisions for Family and Dependents) Act 1975. Proactive and approachable, Angie is confident in guiding her clients through this complex and demanding area of law. 

Angie is recognised as a 'Rising Star' in the leading Legal 500 2024 Directory.

 

Fun Fact

Angie owns a 45 year old camper van called Julietta in which she enjoys breaks away with her husband.
