David graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2008, with a 2:1 (Hons) LLB Law Degree and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester in 2009, receiving a Distinction. David began his training contract with Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors in 2010 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2012. Following qualification, David spent just under 5 years as a Solicitor at Higgs & Sons, followed by over 2 years as a Solicitor and Associate at Hatchers Solicitors LLP in Shrewsbury.
David joined FBC Manby Bowdler as an Associate in the Commercial Property Department in October 2019. David specialises in freehold and leasehold commercial property transactions, including the acquisition and disposal of commercial land and buildings, as well as commercial lease arrangements for both landlords and tenants. Davids work also includes dealing with the property aspects of corporate transactions and acting for clients and lenders in relation to secured lending and refinancing. He acts on the acquisition of land for commercial and residential development and regularly deals with utility company easements.
David is one of the Firms qualified Mental Health First Aider's, helping to support those with mental health issues. Our MHFA's help to encourage conversation around mental health and provide a safe place for those who may struggle, to thrive in a working environment.
David is a keen football fan and, when he was younger, wrote a regular column for a football website.
