Emily attended The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form based in Nottingham where she successfully obtained 3 A-levels in English, Mathematics and Biology. Following her studies, Emily joined FBC Manby Bowdler in 2022 as a Paralegal Support within the Firm's Corporate Department.
In September 2022, Emily became an Apprentice Solicitor and assists the team with corporate transactions including the purchase, sale and re-organisation of companies to non-transactional matters, particularly drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
Emily has undertaken a six-year placement with the Firm whilst studying part time with BPP University to qualify as a Solicitor with a full LLB Law Degree in 2028.
Emily is currently a member of the Shropshire Junior Lawyers Division (JLD).
Emily was head of her schools environmental board and became a Green Growth Champion (one of only ten in the county) because of the work she completed for the environment. Emily presented to local MPs as well as private and public sector leaders on how they should make changes within their industry to help the environmental crisis.
