Gemma achieved a Distinction in a legal secretarial course in 2000 from Wolverhampton City College before joining FBC Manby Bowdler as an office junior in 2003. Gemma progressed to a Legal Secretary in the Residential Property Department in 2004 and in 2008 moved to the Firms Personal Injury Department and later become a Paralegal Support.
Gemma handles a variety of claims including Employment Liability, Public Liability and Occupiers Liability Claims working on behalf of claimants. She also specialises in personal injury matters involving all types of accidents at work such as slips, trips or falls, in addition to claims arising from dangerous practices and procedures in the workplace, defective or poorly maintained equipment, dangerous machinery at work, falling objects, negligence of co-workers, insufficient or improper training, assault at work, accidents while operating a forklift or crane and faulty lifting and manual handling practices brought on by lack of training. Gemma also deals with accidents in public places such as slips, trips or falls on a public road or pavement.
Gemma enjoys baking and attending the Wolverhampton Wanderers FC matches with her son and husband.
