Jane studied History at the University of Reading before going on to complete the next stage of her legal studies at The College of Law in Chester in 1976. Jane then joined Harrisons Solicitors in Welshpool as an Articled Clerk and qualified as a Solicitor in 1979. Jane joined John Bowdler Solicitors (later Bowdlers Solicitors) in Shrewsbury in 1982 and became a Partner in the Private Client Department in 1983. On Bowdlers' merger with Manby Steward Bowdler LLP in 2007 Jane continued her work as a Partner in the Private Client Team and is now based in FBC Manby Bowdlers Shrewsbury office.
Jane specialises in all areas of private client work including wills, probate & lifetime planning, tax planning and trusts. As a key member of the Firms Agricultural & Rural Services Team and from a rural background herself, Jane is experienced in being able to provide private client advice to farming and estate clients, often including matters that involve complex farming and business arrangements.
Jane is married to a local farmer and has 3 grown up children.
