Kate obtained a 2:1 BA (Hons) Degree in History from the University of Exeter in 2011, before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law, achieving a Commendation in 2012 and Legal Practice Course, achieving a Distinction in 2013, both at the College of Law in Birmingham. Kate joined FBC Manby Bowdler as a Paralegal in 2014, commenced her training contract in 2015 and qualified as a Solicitor in the Firm's Family Department in September 2017. In 2022 Kate was promoted to the role of Associate.
Kate is experienced in all aspects of family law including, divorce and financial issues, children issues and cohabitation matters. She is a member of the Family Law organisation Resolution which aims to resolve family issues in a constructive way. Kate is one of the Firm's qualified Mental Health First Aider's, helping to support those with mental health issues. Our MHFA's help to encourage conversation around mental health and provide a safe place for those who may struggle, to thrive in a working environment.
Kate is recognised as a key lawyer in the leading Legal 500 2024 Directory.
Since travelling to Cuba, Kate has begun learning Spanish outside of work.
