Tim was educated at Queen Marys Grammar School in Walsall and obtained an LLB (Hons) Law Degree from the University of Wolverhampton in 1983. Tim completed his law exams at Chester Law School in 1984 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1989. He completed his training contract at Enoch Evans in Walsall before moving to Cartwright and Lewis in Birmingham where he developed an interest in personal injury and medical negligence work. Tim joined fbc Solicitors as a Solicitor in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department in 1994 and became a Partner in 1997.
Tim is an accomplished and very experienced personal injury and clinical negligence lawyer, having specialised in this field for over 20 years. Tim is the Lead Partner within the Department and heads up the Firm's Medical Negligence Team, in addition to managing other high value and complex multi track cases, often involving head and spinal injuries and cases of amputation.
Tim has secured several substantial claims for seriously injured claimants during recent years and is experienced in successfully dealing with the often difficult challenges that arise during the claims process including the recovery of damages for care and the provision of statutory care services, and negotiating and seeking approval of orders for periodical payments.
Tim is recognised by the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme and is ranked as a key lawyer in the leading Legal 500 2022 Directory.
Tim supports West Bromwich Albion with his son. He enjoys walking, travelling and trying to keep fit but advancing years have got the better of his rugby and squash hobbies. He manages to participate regularly in games of tennis and table tennis and greatly enjoys watching his son play rugby.
