Three FBC Manby Bowdler Partners have been named on a nationwide list of ‘elite lawyers’.
James Sage, Steven Corfield and Niall Blackie have all been included in The Legal 500 2015's guide to outstanding lawyers and law firms in the UK.
Niall Blackie is the firm's Senior Partner and Head of the Town and Country Planning team in Telford and Steven Corfield is Head of Agricultural & Rural Services, based in Shrewsbury. James Sage is Head of Corporate, based at the firm’s Wolverhampton office.
Five of the firm’s departments - commercial litigation, agriculture and estates, contentious trusts and probate, family, and planning – received top tier rankings in the guide, which is known as the ‘Lawyer’s Bible’.
Managing Partner Kim Carr said: “I am delighted that this prestigious guide has recognised the exceptional people who work at FBC Manby Bowdler, who are able to intelligently deliver specialist legal advice and service of the highest quality across a number of complex areas.
“To have three partners on the elite list and 23 other lawyers receiving recommendations is testament to their hard work and ability.
“The Legal 500 rankings are independent confirmation that FBC Manby Bowdler continues to provide stellar, value-for-money service to people and businesses across the West Midlands and Shropshire.”
It also received recommendations for work in the following areas: licensing, debt recovery,
insolvency and corporate recovery, employment, personal injury: claimant, charities and not-for-profit, personal tax, trusts and probate, commercial property, construction, property litigation and intellectual property.
