The fantastic work of our team has been successfully recognised in the latest guide to outstanding lawyers and law firms in the UK.
Five Partners are named as Leading Individuals in the 2018 edition of The Legal 500, with a further four lawyers making the list of up and coming Next Generation solicitors. The guide recommends an additional 26 members of the firm for their work in a variety of areas.
Those awarded the elite ranking are Corporate Lead Partner James Sage, Commercial Litigation Senior Partner Guy Birkett, and Craig Ridge who heads the Disputed Probate team, who are based in Wolverhampton.
Partner Niall Blackie, from the Planning department, and Steven Corfield, Principal Development Partner for Agricultural Business, both from Shropshire, join their colleagues on the list.
Next Generation lawyers named in the guide are Wolverhampton Partner Charlotte Clode for Commercial Litigation and Associate Kimberly Mears from the contentious trusts and probate department. Telford-based Associate Suzanne Tucker is recognised for her work in the planning sector alongside Partner David Preece for his work in the Corporate and Commercial team at the same office.
Four of our departments – commercial litigation, agriculture and estates, contentious trusts and probate, and family – received top tier rankings. We also received recommendations for our work in corporate and commercial, licensing, debt recovery, insolvency and corporate recovery, employment, personal injury, personal tax, trusts and probate, education, commercial property and planning.
Managing Partner Kim Carr said: “The Legal 500 is an independent guide, and firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit.
“To have five Leading Individuals and four Next Generation lawyers featured on the list – as well as so many members of our team being singled out for individual praise – is a particularly pleasing result. It is a truly impartial recognition of the stellar service we deliver across a wide range of sectors.”
