Corporate law specialist David Preece has today been appointed an Equity Partner with top Midlands law firm FBC Manby Bowdler.
David, who has been with the firm since joining as a trainee solicitor in 2008, was appointed a Partner within the firm’s commercial department in 2017.
He advises on all aspects of corporate transactions with a growing construction law practice, dealing with both standard and bespoke construction contracts. David is also an established member of the Intellectual Property (IP), Technology & Media Law Group, advising clients on a range of non-contentious intellectual property matters, with a particular emphasis on protection of IP through the registration of trade marks as well as through copyright and design rights.
Managing director Neil Lloyd said: “We’re delighted to welcome David as an Equity Partner, bringing with him an excellent track record in supporting clients and now further helping to set the strategic direction of our growing firm.”
David added: “I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my career journey here at FBC Mandy Bowdler, which has always been a progressive firm which puts client satisfaction at the heart of its growth strategy. I hope that by becoming an Equity Partner, it demonstrates that the firm has a career progression plan in place which rewards hard work and commitment to clients and allows colleagues to fulfil their ambitions to become even more involved within the business.”
