The UK is targeting 2035 for when a blanket ban on selling new petrol, diesel and hybrid cars will be in place. The UK wants to achieve its target of emitting virtually zero carbon by 2050.

In order to achieve its 2035 target the UK faces huge infrastructure challenges.
