FBC Manby Bowdler Associate Kimberly Mears has been appointed as a full member of a prestigious forum of specialists in probate law.
ACTAPS is a forum for established experts in contentious probate to exchange experience, promote training and provide a voice at a national level on issues relating to contentious trust and probate issues.
To gain full accreditation Kimberly had to undertake a two-year course of study that was preceded by two years as an associate member of ACTAPS.
During the course, she had to demonstrate her knowledge and ability to act in contentious probate cases through evidence of real life casework, including at least three cases conducted before the High Court spanning different areas of contentious probate work.
Kimberly explained: “Gaining full membership of ACTAPS is a huge achievement and one that indicates clients are dealing with someone who predominantly focuses on contentious trusts and probate and has current experience of a wide range of issues and acting in court proceedings.
“It gives an additional layer of assurance and added value to our clients.”
For help and advice on these issues Kimberly Mears will be able to help.
