Powys County Council:

  • The Local Development Plan covering up to 2026 was adopted on 17 April 2018
  • At adoption of the LDP the Inspector was satisfied that a five year supply of land for housing is available in the Powys LDP area
  • As of 1 April 2019 the Council says it has a 10.6 year housing land supply
  • There is currently no CIL charging schedule adopted

Wrexham County Borough Council:

  • The Wrexham Unitary Development Plan was adopted in February 2005
  • The Council is preparing the Local Development Plan which will replace the current adopted Unitary Plan
  • As there is no up to date local plan the Council is considered to have a zero land supply
  • A CIL viability study has been undertaken but no CIL schedule is yet in force

Beneath the primary policy framework, each Council has a series of Supplementary Planning Policies and many communities have developed or are working on Neighbourhood Plans, all of which will affect the way that the Council makes decisions about development in your area.
