Remember a charity – how you can make a lasting difference
This week is Remember a Charity week – a national campaign to encourage more people to leave a legacy to charities.
Did you know that around £10bn is donated to charities each year in the UK according to the 2018 Charities Aid Foundation report.
Although the level of giving has remained stable since around 2005, the running costs and demands on services provided by charities have increased.
Many of the services we take for granted locally and nationally such as hospices, animal rescue centres and cancer support wouldn’t exist without not for profit organisations and the work they do. More than 19,000 charities a year benefit from legacies.
If you would like to discuss leaving a gift to charity in your will, please contact our Wills, Probate and Lifetime Planning team.
